Silver Tail Photography provides a product that may be specially prepared for each individual customer and as such expects to receive the agreed payment in full prior to the despatch of the goods.
Scope of Work
Full details as to the nature of the product requested, including pricing, item details, customer contact details and anticipated delivery times will be clearly stated in written correspondence (emails or letters). Should a customer place an order, payment is required at the time of order before any work will be commenced or orders despatched.
Quoted Prices
The quoted prices offered shall be the contract price. In the event of any unforeseen problem arising in the course of carrying out any of the services resulting in additional necessary costs incurred, Silver Tail Photography shall be entitled to adjust the costs to cover unforeseen expenditure to complete the service. Any price adjustment or settlement for unforeseen expenditure shall be mutually agreed between Silver Tail Photography and the Customer and shall be covered by official written correspondence and confirmation.
Errors by Silvertail Photography
Silver Tail Photography endeavours to complete all work error free, however, in the event of an error arising, Silver Tail Photography will take responsibility for ensuring that the error is corrected at no addional cost to the Customer.
Errors by Customers
If an error has occurred and is the fault of the customer, Silver Tail Photography cannot be held responsible and any costs incurred to correct the error is the responsibility of the Customer.
Liability
Silver Tail Photography cannot be held responsible for packages going astray following despatch with the postal service. Goods should be unpacked, checked within 24 hours. Should the goods be returned to Silver Tail Photography due to the carriers failure to complete a delivery because a customer is not present or unable to collect from carriers; Silver Tail Photography reserves the right to place a further delivery charge on the Customer for re shipping. It is the customers responsibility to inform Silver Tail Photography of an alternative address for secure signed delivery if they are unable to be present to receive the goods.
Silver Tail Photography shall not be liable for damages in excess of the purchase price of the product or for compensatory, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, economic or consequential loss, however arising.
Confidentiality
Silver Tail Photography will never pass on any personal or business details to a third party (See Privacy Policy)
Returns
In the unlikely event of a product being unsatisfactory, the customer should, in the first instance, contact Silver Tail Photography by telephone or email to explain the nature of the dissatisfaction within 24 hours of receipt. Goods should be returned within 7 days of receipt to be eligible for a refund.
Any returned goods should be in a perfect and unused condition, returned in the same packaging properly sealed and addressed using a "signed for" Royal Mail postage service or other carrier agreed in writing by Silver Tail Photography.
Providing the goods reach Silver Tail Photography in a saleable condition, an appropriate refund will be made including the cost of return postage. A refund will not be approved if an error occurred on behalf of the customer during the order process. Discretionary refunds will be given for spoilt, damaged or unusable goods.
Silver Tail Photography reserves the right to charge in part or full for any materials used for "Custom Made" items which we would be unable to resell due to the nature of the content.
